The Data Architect at AllPoints Fibre will join our Data and Analytics team. Reporting to the Director of Data and Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in our data transformation.

Your designs will ensure data from our internal systems and external sources is integrated and structured to drive our data driven strategy. You will provide guidance to our ongoing systems transformation to ensure data objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Leadership: Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the data team and development projects.
• Infrastructure & Analytics: Architect a robust data reporting infrastructure that supports advanced analytics and automation. Ensure our data lake and related systems are secure, compliant, and capable of delivering strategic insights.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, IT managers, data engineers, and analysts to align and enhance our data capabilities. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
• Transformation Projects: Guide data architecture within transformation projects, ensuring that data models meet current and future business requirements while maintaining GDPR compliance.
• Data Warehouse & BI Reporting: Lead the creation of data models that meet business reporting and advanced analytics needs.
• Data Security & Compliance: Work closely with the cyber security team to protect data integrity, support GDPR compliance, and enforce best practices in privacy management.

About You:

• Experience: Extensive experience in data architecture, data management, and analytics within complex organizations.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of data analysis and architectural modelling, data warehousing, BI reporting, and data security practices. Expertise in cloud-based data platforms including Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL and PowerBI, SQL and Python.
• Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives.
• Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
