The Product Manager at AllPoints Fibre is critical to developing / enhancing connectivity services predominantly FTTP, Ethernet and SoGEA as well as creating an amazing customer experience wrap. This role is responsible for the creation and feature definition of a product or product line targeting the Wholesale market for both consumer and business grade services.

In this role, you will input into the strategy that goes into the development of a product and responsible for specifying requirements for its productization, GTM strategy, commercial proposition and in life management of the product.

The Product Manager will work collaboratively with the broader commercial function alongside the Network, System and Sales teams.

What you will be doing

• Managing every aspect of a product's development from conception to completion
• Testing samples and researching a sample product's effectiveness and impact
• Assessing and identifying product opportunities to determine which are worth pursuing
• Polling Partners and assessing market demand to ensure validity of every connectivity product both active and planned
• Accountable for the development of the connectivity product roadmap that will be published to our customers and the market
• Determining the right features for a product to ensure its effectiveness within the market
• Identifying and defining the target customer's needs and using this information to develop relevant products
• Oversee product strategy development and defining the steps required to bring the product to fruition
• Determine the GTM and commercial proposition to drive growth and increased penetration across the UK footprint
• Focusing on developing API first and automated interactions to drive volume in a wholesale market
• Driving best practice governance and product in life management
• Working with key strategic partners to launch high quality high bandwidth products

About you

• Proven experience in a wholesale telecoms business/industry
• Experience of all or some of the following: Ethernet, FTTP and SOGEA
• Customer driven; customer at the heart of product development
• Experience of defining product requirements / specifications and sizing for budget
• Strong communication skills and leadership skills through collaboration
• Strong understanding of Telecoms / Wholesale market
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Strong risk management skills
• Strong analytical and detail oriented
• Self motivated and empowerment
• Operate in a fast paced, sometimes ambiguous, environment
