Pricing Manager
The Pricing Manager at AllPoints Fibre Networks will be responsible for managing the pricing ratecards for all our partners (customers) across all our products and services. This will include recurring and one-time fees, discounting and rebates. There is high profile focus on gross margin so you will work closely with the Commercial Managers to deliver pricing solutions and campaigns that will drive margin and lifetime value. You will work with the Commercial Development Director to explain pricing strategy to senior stakeholders and use data analytics to identify opportunities and solve complex analytical scenarios.
You will collaborate closely with our Sales, Marketing, Data, Systems and Finance create and monitor market-leading pricing solutions.
APFN is a young organisation so continuous improvement and good governance in commercial processes (and tools) will be fundamental to your role.
What you will be doing:
- Partner Tier Pricing: Create, maintain, and monitor our front and back-book pricing tables for all products across APFNs three partner tiers
- Annual price increases: perform analysis to understand and provide actionable insight into our annual price rise
- Campaigns: working with the Product and Account Manager(s), create, maintain and monitor campaigns which deliver value to our partners while delivering overall improved lifetime value to APFN (greater volume, lower churn)
- Finance & Billing: Work with Finance and Billing to ensure our partners are charged accurately. Governance: lead pricing governance to ensure all pricing is approved before being made available in market
- Analytics: use data analytics tools to assess all aspects of pricing, revenue and profitability
- Business cases: Supporting the Product Managers in assessing business cases of new products ascertaining the market price
- In-life management: Perform revenue assurance
- Lead Pricing Capabilities: drive business cases and prioritisation inputs for pricing capability development with our Programme Delivery team
- Audit & Risk: manage the pricing risk register
- Market Insights: A deep understanding of the wholesale telecommunication market in the UK including knowledge of competitors, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks. Maintain insight and knowledge to inform commercial decisioning.
About you:
Our ideal candidate will possess strong financial and commercial acumen, backed by practical experience. You must be capable of handling large volumes of data and distilling it into clear, actionable insights. A commitment to maintaining a robust controls environment is essential, along with the integrity to hold others accountable and a meticulous attention to detail.
You will have strong communication skills, being able to clearly articulate to financial and non-financial colleagues.
